About the event

Register to learn valuable information for you and your community about how to respond to 14-Day Notices, For Cause Evictions, and how to enforce your rights as a tenant if you are facing eviction.

Here's what the day will look like!

  • 2:00pm-3:00pm: Learn from Housing Stability Experts: the Housing Justice Project, Tenant Law Center, King County Dispute Resolution Center, and City of Renton will be available with resources and information. This is a great time to network, gather resources and introduce yourself to others!
  • 3:00pm-4:00pm, Listen to the Presentation, Tenant Rights and Eviction Prevention: Eastside Legal Assistance Program will be giving a presentation on renter rights. Contents include: How to respond to 14-Day Notices, For Cause Evictions, and how to enforce your rights as a tenant if you are facing eviction. The presentation will be followed by Q&A.

During this event there will be community based organizations that will be hosting tables and providing resources. The following organizations that will be in attendance are: Housing Justice Project, King County Dispute Resolution Center, and the Tenant Law Center. 

Please note that we will be adhering to COVID protocols and guidelines that include mask wearing and social distancing while inside of the event

Please note that there is limited parking available at the Sunset Neighborhood Center. The location is within ¼ mile of bus stops serving Line 105 and 111. Via to Transit provides access to Renton Highlands Library, which is ½ mile walk from the location.
