We are thrilled to share a momentous achievement for the Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP)!
On Saturday, August 19th, 2023, we were honored to receive the inaugural Skyway Community Impact Award from Skyway Coalition. This recognition took place amidst the vibrant atmosphere of King County Fire District 20’s Annual Health & Fire Safety Fair, creating a memorable and meaningful occasion for all involved.
The Skyway Community Impact Award holds a special place in our hearts, as it highlights the tireless efforts and commitment of RIZ, it also celebrates individuals and organizations who have positively impacted the lives of Skyway Residents. This acknowledgment reflects the collaborative spirit of our dedicated team, partners, and community who have come together to effect positive change.
As the RIZP has an established partnership with King County Fire District 20 though our work with the Skyway Resource Center; the Health & Fire Safety Fair served as the perfect backdrop for this momentous occasion, aligning with our mission to create healthier and safer environments for all of our community members. We are deeply grateful to Skyway Coalition for recognizing our endeavors and for their steadfast support in championing our impact within the Skyway/West-Hill and Renton Highlands communities.
As we move forward, this award serves as a testament to our ongoing commitment to educational equity, community engagement, and supporting students and families who reside in the Renton Innovation Zone (RIZ).
